Students Help Rescue Stranded Pilot Whales on Ngawi Coast

Dozens of pilot whales were discovered stranded on the Ngawi coastline on Thursday. In a remarkable response, primary students left their classrooms to aid in their rescue.

The scene unfolded as the students arrived to help local marine rescue teams. They participated in efforts to care for the animals and learn about marine biology through this hands-on experience. Volunteers worked tirelessly as the situation developed throughout the day.

Teachers highlighted the value of this situation as a real-world educational opportunity. Students engaged in discussions about marine conservation, animal welfare, and the challenges faced by marine life.

Although the event was distressing, it became a meaningful lesson for the young participants. It served as a powerful reminder of the connection between education and environmental stewardship.
