Retired GP Returns to Assist Horowhenua Health Clinic

Dr Andy van de Vyver has come out of retirement to aid an undermanned health clinic in Horowhenua. This follows the departure of a dozen staff members since his own exit last year.

Taitoko Health has been facing challenges in staffing levels due to significant turnover. The clinic's struggles have prompted the return of Dr van de Vyver, who aims to relieve the pressure on the remaining team members. Since he left the clinic last year, many staff have either resigned or given notice, impacting patient care.
