Students Install Nesting Boxes for Little Blue Penguins

Year 7 and 8 students from Ridgway School took action for wildlife by installing nesting boxes for little blue penguins along the Wellington coast. This initiative aims to support the local kororā population.

The students gathered this morning at Ōwhiro Bay to set up the new homes for the penguins. Their efforts are part of a broader commitment to wildlife conservation and environmental education.
