U3A Katikati to hear talks on Waikino Battery and WWI mounted rifles

Katikati's sub-branch of U3A Tauranga is holding its next meeting on Tuesday, 8 April, at the hub adjacent to Katikati Library, and visitors are welcome to attend. Entry is $3 per person.

Katherine Lucas will open proceedings with a talk on the Waikino Battery, while main speaker Christopher Archer will present on the New Zealand Mounted Rifles' campaigns in Egypt and Palestine between 1916 and 1919. Those wanting more information can phone Irene Meadon on 021 182 6749.
