Katikati's Easter Bonnet Extravaganza Coming Soon

Katikati Lions Club is excited to host its inaugural Easter Bonnet Extravaganza, offering a vibrant and creative competition for all ages. Set for April 4 at the War Memorial Hall, the event promises cash prizes and plenty of fun.

Participants can enter their unique bonnet designs across several categories, including Little Bunnies for under-10s and Master Makers for adults, with first-place prizes from $50 to $300. Organiser Jo Hurne encourages creativity with a call for outrageous designs, making use of feathers, glitter, and various materials.

With live music and local food vendors, the event aims to be a lively celebration for the whole community. It's a great opportunity to create and enjoy an Easter-themed day out in Katikati.
