Hot rod display at Katikati a fundraiser for volunteer fire brigade

Classic car enthusiasts and curious locals are invited to a Hot Rod Display at Katikati's Park Road Reserve on 19 April, running from 9.30am to 2.30pm. The free-entry event is being hosted by Summerset by the Sea and Henry's Rod Shop, and is open to both Summerset residents and the wider community.

The display is a fundraiser for the Katikati Volunteer Fire Brigade, and visitors can expect to see classic cars and hot rods of all makes and models — including the brigade's own converted 1953 Ford fire truck. Summerset's café will be open on the day, and a sausage sizzle will also be available.
