Kids Hunting and Fishing Competition Launches in Katikati

The Katikati Kids Hunting and Fishing Competition is set to kick off on March 27-29, aiming to engage local youth in the outdoors. With a prize pool of up to $20,000, excitement is building among participants and families alike.

This year's competition welcomes kids up to 15 years old, with entries expected to exceed last year's total. Major prizes include an inflatable boat and various spot prizes from bikes to fishing gear. The Adamson family, who organises the event, encourages everyone to register or sign up on the day at their headquarters on State Highway 2.
