Matahui School Fun Fair to fund forest learning programme

Matahui School is hosting a Community Fun Fair on Saturday, 28 February, from midday to 3pm, raising funds for its popular forest school programme. The programme takes students outside the classroom for nature-based, outdoor learning experiences, and the fair aims to grow both its equipment and literacy resources.

Families can expect market stalls showcasing local artisans and producers, a dedicated kids' fun zone, and a neurodiverse-friendly area to ensure the event is welcoming to all whānau. All proceeds from the day will go directly towards supporting the school's forest programme.
