Katikati Community Centre to showcase services at February open day

The Katikati Community Centre on Beach Rd is holding an Open Day on Saturday, 28 February, from 10am to 1pm, giving locals the chance to see everything the centre has to offer. General manager Nicky Austin says all room users will also be on hand so visitors can learn about the wider range of services available under one roof.

The centre runs a variety of courses and workshops and hosts regular services including justice of the peace visits, B4 School checks, financial mentoring, Inland Revenue appointments, and asthma clinics. The open day will include kids' activities, hot drinks, baking, a sausage sizzle, spot prizes, and giveaways.

The event will run alongside the Volunteer Hop happening in Katikati the same day, and will also coincide with the Poutama Pathway Into Employment open day at Katikati Christian Centre on Henry Rd.
