Katikati Weekend Double: Twilight Concert and A&P Show
Katikati locals and visitors are in for a packed weekend, with two major annual events taking place back to back. On Saturday 31 January, the town's only twilight concert for 2026 kicks off at Haiku Reserve, featuring Tony Lewis — the UK's premier Robbie Williams tribute act. Gates open at 5pm, with the show starting at 6pm.
The following day, Sunday 1 February, the Katikati A&P Show opens at Uretara Domain at 9am. Families can expect a big line-up of free activities for tamariki, including a puppet show, a lolly scramble, face painting, donkey rides, a vertical bungy, a rock climbing wall, an Animal Magic show featuring sheep handled by local trainer Bex Tasker, train rides for under-fives, and giant wooden games.
The show's traditional country flavour will also be on display, with woodchopping competitions, dairy cattle judging, equestrian events, Home Industries exhibits, a Children's Scarecrow Competition, and military and vintage vehicles, tractors, and wrestling on show.
