Weeding Bee Set for Moth Plant Control Near Te Puna
Local residents are encouraged to join a weeding bee at I’Anson Bush Reserve next Thursday, January 29. This community effort aims to control the invasive moth plant population thriving in the area.
Participants will gather at 9am to help remove moth plants and other pests before they mature and spread. All necessary equipment will be provided, along with refreshments for volunteers.
This initiative highlights the community's commitment to preserving local biodiversity and promoting native plant health. Interested individuals can contact Kate Loman-Smith for more details.
