Katikati Hosts Creative Scarecrow Competitions Next Month

Katikati is buzzing with creative energy next month as two scarecrow competitions are set to take place. Residents are invited to display their skills and enjoy some community spirit.

The Katikati A&P Show will hold its Scarecrow Competition on February 1, with categories for children, adults, and community groups. Participants can enter for just $2 per scarecrow, and creativity is encouraged as long as each entry has some straw inside.

On February 14, Grow On Katikati will offer a free scarecrow workshop and competition featuring cultural and creative categories. This event promises to bring fun back to gardening, along with prizes for winning creations.

Both events aim to unite the community and celebrate creativity in a charming way. Don't miss out on these exciting activities!
