Te Puke Christmas Float Parade Embraces Steampunk Theme

Te Puke community came together last Saturday for the 2025 Seeka Te Puke Christmas Float Parade, which featured approximately 40 floats celebrating a steampunk theme. Organiser Sally Benning of Epic Te Puke said the response exceeded expectations, with participants embracing the theme enthusiastically and going to great lengths with their float designs.

Santa kept the tradition alive by riding his sleigh with a special young passenger—four-year-old Blayde Arnold, who was born with Emanuel syndrome, an extremely rare chromosomal disorder. Blayde rode shotgun with his father Scott. Winners of the supreme theme title for their float will be announced in the following edition.
