Katikati Streets to Close for A&P Show in February 2026

Western Bay of Plenty District Council has given notice that two Katikati streets will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic to accommodate the Katikati Agricultural & Pastoral Show.

Stewart Street and Major Street — both in their entirety — will be closed from 8.00am to 5.00pm on Sunday, 1 February 2026. The closure is made under the Local Government Act 1974 (Tenth Schedule).

Anyone using the affected roads during the closure period without authorised permission will be committing an offence under the relevant regulations. The notice was signed by Chief Executive Officer Miriam Taris on behalf of the council.
