Farewell to Katikati's Lavendell Duo After Nearly a Decade

After nearly a decade of cultivating lavender in Katikati, Pieter and Helena Maarschalk are selling their beloved farm. They are ready to embark on a new chapter closer to family in the South Island.

The Maarschalks began their lavender journey in 2015, growing their business from crafting products at local markets to establishing a successful farm. Health challenges and a desire to be nearer to grandchildren have motivated their decision to relocate.

They expressed bittersweet feelings about leaving the community that has supported them through their lavender venture, highlighting the beauty of their surroundings and the friendships made.
