Feedback Wanted on New Medical Centre Proposal at Waihī Beach

Western Bay of Plenty District Council is seeking community input on a proposed medical centre at Beach Road Recreation Reserve. This facility aims to address growing healthcare needs in the area.

Primary Health Care Limited plans to lease part of the reserve to construct a medical centre with increased capacity and improved services. A community drop-in session will be held on December 13 to answer questions. Feedback is open until February 8, 2026, and will guide a final decision by the council.
