Te Puke Paper Plus Launches Book Donation Initiative for The Hub
Stuart Gunn, owner of Te Puke Paper Plus, has created a community initiative to help those less fortunate access books. Customers who purchase books at the store receive a 25% discount if they donate them to a collection destined for The Hub Te Puke. Those making donations also enter a draw for a prize worth $150. Gunn is primarily encouraging people to select children's books as Christmas gifts for families in need. The Hub Te Puke general manager Scott Nicholson welcomed the initiative, noting it will help provide gifts for approximately 190 families receiving Christmas parcels during the week before Christmas—families for whom money is tight and book purchases are not a priority. The final day to make a donation is December 10.
