Te Puke High School Celebrates Class of 2025 with Spectacular Prizegiving
Te Puke High School's Class of 2025 was celebrated in a vibrant senior prizegiving ceremony at The Orchard Church, showcasing academic excellence, community service, and outstanding talent. The evening was guided by head students Bella Ngawhika and Harrison Matthews, featuring performances including vocal performances by Anika Hungerford, a Kiribati dance by Bronny Simpson and Ahliyah Reihana, and a powerful haka by the kapahaaka group.
Major honors included Dux of Humanities awarded to Mollie Wilton and Dux of Sciences to Riley Horton. Samantha Gibbons received the Proxime Accessit award for exceptional academic achievement. Head student Bella Ngawhika secured an impressive $100,000 in scholarships. Over $330,000 in total scholarships were distributed to senior students. The school also honored Carol Power for her 37 years of teaching at Te Puke High School.
