Katikati Christmas Gift Drive Seeks Donations for Local Kids

For the fifth year running, the Katikati Community Centre is calling on residents to get into the giving spirit by donating new, unwrapped gifts for children aged zero to 18. The drive aims to bring a little Christmas magic to tamariki in the community, with gifts to be distributed next month.

Katikati Community Centre staff member Sonya Mischewski says the team consistently runs short of gifts and has had to dip into its own budget to top up supplies. "The more gifts we receive, the better," she said.

Local woman Sjaan Rounds is among those helping to organise this year's drive. Donations can be dropped off as soon as possible at The Arts Junction at 36 Main Rd, or the community centre at 45 Beach Rd.
