Wander Walks Summer Series for Dog Owners in WBOP

Dog owners in the Western Bay of Plenty are in for a treat as the Wander Walks Summer Series kicks off. This initiative offers five scenic dog walks in friendly environments.

Organized by the Western Bay of Plenty District Council, these free events promote socialization for dogs and their owners. The series culminates with a Doggy Day Out celebration at Ōmokoroa Sportsground in March 2026. Upcoming walks include destinations like Te Puna Quarry Park and Mcloughlin Park in Te Puke.
