Katikati Sea Scouts Host Successful Pinewood Derby

The Western Bay of Plenty Zone Pinewood Derby brought together around 200 families in Katikati. Hosted by the Sea Scouts, the event celebrates creativity among young participants.

Children ages five to 15 crafted wooden cars to race down a track. The top racers in each category advance to the National Pinewood Derby in Auckland. Alongside the racing, activities included games and a sausage sizzle.
