Te Puke 19-year-old sprinter Jaxon Woolley is gearing up for a big summer on the track as he chases a spot at next year's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Competing in the T38 classification for athletes with cerebral palsy, Woolley holds New Zealand records in the 100m and 200m events. His 100m personal best of 11.91 seconds ranks him fifth among Commonwealth T38 athletes, putting him in strong contention for selection. Born with polymicrogryia and living with multiple conditions including ADHD, autism and epilepsy, Woolley's determination and speed have made him one to watch. With a full season ahead, including national and Oceania competitions, he is focused on improving his times and securing his place on the international stage.
