Call for Volunteers for Pink Ribbon Appeal in Bay of Plenty

The Breast Cancer Foundation NZ is reaching out to the community for volunteers to support their upcoming Pink Ribbon Street Appeal on October 17-18. This event is crucial for raising funds for breast cancer research and support.

Local involvement is vital as each year approximately 205 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in the Bay of Plenty. Volunteers are needed to help with collection efforts over the two days.

'Giving just two hours of your time can have a substantial impact,' said Chief Executive Ah-Leen Rayner, emphasizing that every dollar raised contributes directly to life-saving initiatives.
