Free CPR training on offer in Katikati this October

Katikati residents have the chance to learn potentially life-saving CPR skills this month as part of Hato Hone St John's Shocktober awareness campaign. The training covers the Three Steps for Life lesson, which is designed to give ordinary people the confidence to act if someone suffers a cardiac arrest, including how to use an AED defibrillator.

Sessions are being held at the Katikati Community Centre, 45 Beach Road, on 6, 12, 15 and 20 October from 2 pm to 3 pm, with an additional session on 24 October from 3 pm to 4 pm. Participants are asked to RSVP at least four days before their chosen session by emailing taurangaadmin@stjohn.org.nz.
