Daffodil Day Returns to Ōmokoroa and Katikati

Daffodil Day is back, and the streets of Ōmokoroa and Katikati are alive with yellow in support of those affected by cancer. Local events aim to raise funds for cancer services this year.

With volunteer-led initiatives, including special morning teas at local businesses, the community is rallying together to support this important cause. Last year's Daffodil Day raised almost $10,000, and this year aims to surpass that mark.

Local organisers, Glennis Sims and Monique Amor, encourage everyone to contribute in any way they can, whether through donations or by participating in fundraising events. It’s a both-hearted effort to support families affected by cancer in the area.
