Katikati Primary's Book Character Parade Enthralls Crowd

Katikati Primary School was filled with excitement during its annual Book Character Parade last Friday. Students from all year groups showcased their creativity, dressing up as beloved characters from their favourite books.

The event, part of the school's Book Week, saw students walking around the courtyard, accompanied by cheer from parents and a lively atmosphere. Emceed by teacher Liz Woods, the focus was on the joy of reading, rather than competition for best-dressed, making it a truly special celebration of literature.
