Katikati Youth Punk Band Taking Break to Create Album

The Katikati-based punk band Sewerside Rats is stepping back from live performances to concentrate on their debut album. The band members are keen on crafting original music influenced by 80s and 90s punk rock.

Formed in 2024, the band has quickly gained a following in the Western Bay area through energetic performances. Band member Sierra Prassinos expressed the importance of looking like how they feel musically and using their style to reflect their sound.
