Katikati Calendar 2026: Residents Invited to Share Their Love of the Town

Katch Katikati is calling on local photographers of all ages and skill levels to submit images for the Katikati Calendar 2026, with a deadline of 17 August to enter. The initiative, supported by an anonymous sponsor, doubles as a community photo competition centred on the theme 'Love Katikati'.

Marketing manager Fiona Powell said entrants can submit up to three photographs via the online entry form at katikati.org.nz. A judging panel will choose 12 images to feature across the calendar's monthly pages, with one additional image selected for the cover. Photographers whose work is chosen will receive a complimentary copy of the calendar and be credited in the publication.

The Katikati Calendar 2026 will be available for purchase at The Arts Junction and other approved outlets. Powell encouraged anyone with a passion for the town to take part, saying that whether you're an experienced photographer or simply someone who loves Katikati, your perspective matters.
