Sue Willers Retires After 31 Years at Te Puke Pharmacy

Sue Willers is wrapping up her time at Te Puke Pharmacy on July 29 after 31 years of dedicated service. During her tenure, Willers has worked in the photo lab, and more recently served at the dispensary counter. "I will miss the faces," said Willers, who plans to start a new chapter in her life.

Willers initially started working at the pharmacy, then owned by Rob and Mary Alice Blackett, during school holidays to help out. What began as temporary work became permanent. When the business changed hands, Willers continued her role under new owner Sam Appleford, adapting as photographic services declined and the pharmacy's focus shifted.
