Kyla Allen-Boyd Represents Katikati at Youth Parliament

Kyla Allen-Boyd, a Year 12 student from Katikati College, has been selected to be part of the Youth Press Gallery at the upcoming Youth Parliament 2025.

Kyla expressed her excitement about the opportunity to learn more about government processes and represent the views of her peers. As a Youth Press Gallery member, she will report on parliamentary proceedings and develop her journalism skills.

Her involvement aims to empower youth voices in political discussions, particularly concerning issues that affect them directly. After the event, Kyla hopes to consider a future in journalism or law.
