Funding Available for Local Projects in Western Bay

The Western Bay of Plenty District Council has opened applications for a Community Matching Fund totalling $160,000. This initiative aims to support local projects that enhance the community.

Grants are available for social, recreational, and cultural initiatives, as well as environmental projects. Community projects can receive funding by matching the council's contribution with volunteer work, donations, or other resources.

Information sessions for potential applicants will be held at various local libraries, including Te Puke Library on July 14. Applications close on July 31.
