Te Rereatukāhia Marae Holds AGM and Elections in July

The Te Rereatukāhia Marae Committee has called members together for a series of important hui in July 2025, beginning with an Annual General Meeting on Sunday 20 July at the marae on Te Rereatukāhia Pā Road, Katikati, starting at 10am.

The AGM will cover the chairperson's report, financial accounts for 2025–2026, and a review of charter submissions. A Special General Meeting will follow immediately after to conduct elections for key roles including secretary, treasurer, three committee members, and a Kāhui Kaumātua representative for the Kāhui Forum.

A third gathering, the Hui-a-Hapū, will also take place on the day, covering standard hapū business, financial matters, and elections for the Kaahia Club committee. A shared kai is planned — attendees are asked to bring a plate.

Voting rules for the elections include no proxy votes, all votes to be cast in person, one vote per person aged 18 and over, and voting by show of hands. Hūnaonga (in-laws) are also eligible to vote. Enquiries can be directed to chairperson Hone Winder-Murray at chair.terereatukahia.marae@gmail.com.
