Katikati Lions Club Updating Local Community Directory

The Katikati Lions Club is currently refreshing its Community Directory and is encouraging locals and new businesses to get in touch to update or add their details before the end of June. The directory, which serves as a fundraiser to support community causes, will be delivered to all local letterboxes once published.

Club president Trevor Burgess said a number of listings had to be removed from last year's edition because phone numbers were disconnected or went unanswered. He noted that with many residents switching from landlines to mobile phones, it is worth making sure contact details are current. Residents can include more than one listing, and a mobile number or landline can both appear if preferred. New residents and new business owners can also place adverts or listings in the directory.

Details can be dropped off at Katch Katikati, the Katikati Community Centre, or emailed to katikatilionsdirectory@gmail.com. Burgess urged people to submit their information as soon as possible.
