Comvita celebrates 50 years of natural health and wellness

Comvita, the Bay of Plenty-based natural health company, is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The company was founded by Alan Bougen and Claude Stratford, who shared a deep interest in health, nutrition and bees. The pair came together a quarter-century ago to form what has become a pioneering business in natural health and wellness. Co-founder Bougen described the company's journey as 'rich, exciting, challenging, fun, risky, satisfying and certainly long', reflecting on the milestones achieved over five decades of operation.
