Katikati Housing Project Nears Completion, Community Invited to Help

Construction on a new Abbeyfield housing project in Katikati is advancing, with the roof set to go on shortly. The initiative aims to provide en-suite accommodations for seniors in need of affordable housing.

The Abbeyfield WBOP committee is currently seeking community support to help fund the project further. They are asking locals to purchase bricks for the cladding at $25 each to meet the remaining fundraising goal of $67,022.

This project will offer a supportive living environment for seniors, combining companionship with privacy, and draws upon the strength of community involvement to succeed.
