Pink Ribbon Morning Tea Hosted by Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tamawhariua

Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tamawhariua is hosting a Pink Ribbon Morning Tea and Kōrero on Thursday 22 May, running from 11am to 1pm at the Patuki Manawa (Boyd Room) in Katikati, next to the library. The community event is free to attend, with a koha encouraged, all of which will go directly to the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ.

Attendees are invited to come dressed in pink for what organisers describe as a beautiful morning of kai, kōrero, and whakawhanaungatanga — the strengthening of relationships — in support of breast cancer awareness. Knowledgeable guest speakers will address the importance of early detection and regular screening.

Spaces are limited, so those keen to attend should register before 19 May by phoning Noelene on 022 556 7627 or emailing n.tewhakaara@tamawhariua.org.nz.
