Echo Walking Festival Sees Record Participation

The Echo Walking Festival has wrapped up its biggest season yet, attracting hundreds of participants. This year's event showcased 45 diverse walks across the region.

New trails introduced included walks in TECT Park and the Ōtanewainuku Trig. Organizers have noted a growing appetite for outdoor experiences, making it clear that locals and visitors alike value these opportunities to connect with nature and each other.

The festival also celebrated a collaboration with the Flavours of Plenty festival, enhancing the community's engagement with local trails and paths.
