Western Bay Districts Plan Seven Anzac Day Services

Communities across the Western Bay of Plenty will gather at seven locations on 25 April to mark Anzac Day. Dawn Services will be held at multiple sites, with Waihī Beach RSA hosting a Dawn Parade and Service from 6am, and Tuapiro Marae beginning its Dawn Service at 6am at 24 Hikurangi Road.

In Katikati, the Dawn Service starts at 6am outside the Katikati War Memorial Hall, while Ōmokoroa's Dawn Service will be held at the Remembrance Cairn in Gerald Crapp Reserve. Oropi will host a service at 10.30am at Oropi Memorial Hall and Community Centre.

Te Puke will hold a Civic Parade at 9.50am followed by a 10am service at Te Puke War Memorial Hall. At Waitangi, a Dawn Service will take place at the war memorial gates at Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Matai, beginning at 6am.
