Katikati Skate Park to Enjoy Artistic Revamp

Local youth are excited about the upcoming makeover of the Katikati Skate Park. Street artist Kalib Wallace will lead the project, bringing children's vision into the artwork.

The design process included input from local kids, who shared ideas ranging from favourite video games to animals. This community-focused approach seeks to create a vibrant and inviting space for the young skaters of the area.

KOAA manager Peri St John-Ives emphasized the importance of involving youth in the project, as their input will shape a place they can be proud of. The painting process is expected to kick off later this year.
