Katikati Bird Gardens Hosts 21st Easter Egg Hunt
The Katikati Bird Gardens is set to host its 21st annual Easter egg hunt on Sunday, April 20. With various activities and plenty of chocolate eggs to find, it's a delightful event for local families.
Starting at noon, children can search for hidden coloured balls throughout the gardens, which they can exchange for chocolate eggs at the café. Additionally, kids can count pink rabbits to enter a draw for a giant chocolate egg.
Owner Scott Robertson shared that last year saw over 300 children participate, making it a cherished local tradition. The gardens open at 10am, and early attendance is encouraged to avoid lunchtime queues.
