Katikati Festival of Cultures Returns with New Venue

The Katikati Festival of Cultures is back, promising a lively flag parade and diverse cultural experiences. This year, the event has moved to Moore Park to accommodate more attendees and activities.

Kicking off at 10am with a flag parade from Katikati College, the festival will feature over 30 food vendors offering cuisines from around the world. Attendees can enjoy cultural performances, interactive workshops, and a Holi-inspired powder throw celebrating unity and new beginnings.

Committee member Kylie Watkins highlighted the festival's aim to showcase the beauty of multiculturalism in the community. The event is set for April 5, welcoming everyone to enjoy an enriching day.
