Te Puke United Football Club Eyes Title Repeat in Regional League

Te Puke United has been placed into the regional leagues this season after the withdrawal of some teams made their former league no longer viable. The football club will play in the Bay of Plenty Senior Men's League Division One – the same division they won in 2023.

Coach Aaron Ashton said the return to something closer to last season's style hasn't been too difficult, with a core of players returning from last season alongside some new faces. Returning captain Cameron Riley leads the squad, which also includes former player-coach Tom Skerten as vice-captain, and new additions such as Alex Johnson, Shaun Bell, Mohdeep Sodhi, and forward Nick Johnson who is back after a season away.
