Walk 100km in April to Support Waipuna Hospice Free Palliative Care

Western Bay of Plenty residents are being encouraged to sign up for Walk for Waipuna, a fundraising challenge that asks participants to walk 100 kilometres over 30 days during April. Funds raised go towards providing free palliative care services to people facing life-limiting illnesses and their whānau.

The challenge is designed to be accessible to people of all fitness levels — averaging around 3 kilometres a day — and can be done at your own pace and in your own place. Once registered, walkers can set up a personal fundraising page to share with colleagues, friends, and their community. Sign-ups are open now at https://walkforwaipuna.raisely.site/com.
