Te Puke 4x4 Driver Nathan Fogden Aims for National Title at Home Round
Te Puke 4x4 driver Nathan Fogden is hoping to reclaim his title hopes when the NZ 4x4 National Trials Series comes to his home round on Sunday. Fogden last won his class in the 2022-2023 season, and the Cclass competitor hasn't had the best of recent seasons, but a win in Te Puke could get his title challenge back on track.
The Bay of Plenty Four Wheel Drive Club is hosting the round on the Powdrell family farm on Rangiuru Road. Trials are based on the ability of competitors to drive their vehicles over difficult terrain, including hill climbs, mud bogs, steep hills, rocks and banks. The course is made up of a minimum of 28 short obstacles.
