Members of the Katikati Art Group and Gallery have been encouraged to let their imaginations run free, with the group recently turning its focus to abstract art. Art group secretary Rachel Reynolds described abstract art as a style that does not attempt to represent visual reality, giving artists the freedom to truly "go wild" with their creative expression.
