New Roundabout at SH2 Ōmokoroa Road Intersection

A new roundabout will be established at the SH2 and Ōmokoroa Road intersection, improving traffic flow and safety in the area. Markings for the roundabout will commence overnight on March 6.

This temporary roundabout aims to give drivers a sense of the upcoming permanent layout while enhancing safety during construction. The project will continue into the following weeks, with intermittent traffic controls expected.

Motorists are advised to stay alert for signage and reduced speed limits to ensure smooth travels through the site. The intersection upgrade aims to better accommodate the increasing traffic demands in the Ōmokoroa area.
