Craig Wallace Launches Litter-Picking Mission to Keep Te Puke Beautiful

Craig Wallace has launched a personal mission to beautify Te Puke, becoming the face of the newly established Keep Te Puke Beautiful group. Inspired by litter accumulation near his home, Wallace has been collecting rubbish several evenings a week and weekends, filling a 240-litre recycling bin with discarded cans over a 15-hour period. Te Puke is the latest community to join the Keep New Zealand Beautiful family, a network of over 50 environmental groups nationwide. Wayne Gazley, the organisation's national support manager, visited Wallace with equipment and branded merchandise, describing his commitment as inspiring and reflective of grassroots community spirit.
