Katikati Toy Library Celebrates New Carpet

The Katikati Community Toy Library is kicking off the new year with fresh carpet throughout its facility. After overcoming funding hurdles, the community rallied to help make this upgrade possible.

With new carpet laid in early December, the library is ready to launch a new weekly activity for preschoolers. Toy Librarian Sandy Goode expressed heartfelt gratitude for the local support that helped them raise $7,000 needed after a carpet company liquidation made previous funds unrecoverable. The toy library is set to enhance its offerings and ensure children can play in a clean environment.
