Western Bay Council Opens Winter Sports Field Bookings for 2025

Western Bay of Plenty District Council is calling on sports clubs and casual users to submit their field and hard-court bookings for the 2025 winter sports season, which runs from 1 April to 30 September. There is no charge for members of the public to use facilities, but bookings are required to guarantee availability.

The council uses the booking information to keep tabs on how facilities are being used, helping to forecast future demand and plan maintenance work such as mowing and turf renovation around scheduled activity.

Application forms are available on the Council's website at www.westernbay.govt.nz or by phoning 0800 926 732. Written applications can also be sent to Western Bay of Plenty District Council, Private Bag 12803, Tauranga Mail Centre, Tauranga 3143, or emailed to reservebookings@westernbay.govt.nz.
