Te Puke High School Names New Head Students
Te Puke High School has announced Harrison Matthews as head boy and Bella Ngawhika as head girl, with both beginning their roles at the start of Term 1. Matthews, who initially described himself as shy, has worked on building confidence and now addresses the entire school without hesitation—a significant personal transformation he attributes to taking drama classes and pushing his limits. Ngawhika expressed her desire to continue achievements of past head girls while introducing new initiatives. Both students were selected through a formal nomination process and have been preparing for their leadership roles since being announced last year.
